Accreditation and Approval

Summit University of Louisiana is incorporated and exempted from licensure

as a nonsectarian religious institution in the State of Louisiana to offer

higher education degrees. Summit does not discriminate on the basis of

race, color, national or ethnic origin, age, sex, sexual orientation,

physical difference or prior military service in admissions, employment,

educational programs or activities, or its interest free loan program.

Summit abides by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974.

Summit is not a member of any voluntary agency or group recommended or

recognized by the US Department of education for purposes of accrediting

under regulations that apply to Federal student loan processing. Summit

University of Louisiana provides its own financial aid program and does not

participate in outside loan programs.

 

The typical Summit University of Louisiana degree candidate is a mature adult,

seeking additional learning in a profession or avocation with freedom to

control their own learning program.

 

While Summit University of Louisiana's headquarters and administrative

offices are in Louisiana, and all trustees maintain their offices and

records in New Orleans, most reside in and correspond with Learners living

elsewhere.

 

Before enrolling, Learners should determine to their satisfaction that their

degree will meet the requirements of employers and governing agencies

if those factors are important in to the Learner.
